Age is just a number.
Age is just a number.
Age is just a number.
Maybe if I say it enough, I'll believe it! Since my son turned five years old a couple weeks ago, the number 40 seems a little more daunting. It's strange. I feel like kids (toddlers in my story) in some ways keep us youthful and young and in many ways they age you beyond years with sleep exhaustion and stress :) I say that but the love I've experienced through them is beyond measure, worth any sleepless night or stressful day.
The goal of this blog is to invite women who are turning 40 this year to an online wellness community. I want to help create a safe place to talk about what 40 looks like for all of us. Maybe it's no big deal to some, maybe its a mid-life crisis to others.
We can talk about what's working, what's NOT working.... How we can create our own wellness plans that fit in our space or season of life.
I enjoyed reading Real Self Care book by Dr. Pooja Lakshmin. She talks about how real self care is not about consumerism but about community! Although I do think we all benefit from some superficial self-care, we truly grow from deeper connections.
If you're turning FORTY this year and want to engage in some good discussion, join my mission FORTY group. FREE laughs, FREE connection, FREE listening, FREE advice...
Message me for information :)
Sincerely,
Sophia
